Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 13, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how SoloRateCalc ("we", "us") handles information when you visit soloratecalc.com. The calculators run entirely in your browser — we do not ask you to create an account and we do not store the numbers you enter.

Information we collect

We do not require you to submit personal information to use the calculators. All inputs are processed on your own device and are never sent to or stored by us.

We may use a third-party analytics service to understand aggregate, anonymous usage — such as which calculators are popular — so we can improve the site. No personal data is required to use any feature.

Cookies

We may set a cookie solely to remember your cookie-preference choice. If analytics are enabled, a third-party provider may set a cookie to count visits in an aggregate and anonymised form. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not display third-party ads.

Your rights under GDPR (EU / UK)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the UK, you have the right to access, correct, delete and restrict processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. You can update your cookie choices at any time using the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer. For any other request, contact us at contact@soloratecalc.com.

Your rights under CCPA (California)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for advertising purposes. You can use the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" control in the footer to record your preference.

Data retention

Because we do not collect personal data directly, we hold no personal records to retain. Any data collected by third-party analytics services is governed by their own retention policies.

Children's privacy

SoloRateCalc is not directed at children under 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your region) and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will remove it.

International data transfers

Our third-party analytics provider may process data on servers located outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, these providers maintain appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the current version.
